There may be times when you wish to connect your Nixplay Wi-Fi Cloud Frame to a public Wi-Fi network (hotspot), like if you are travelling and you brought your Nixplay with you. If that is the case, remember to bring your remote control as you’ll need it. You can also download the Nixplay App, which can also function as a remote.
The process is the same as when you connected your Nixplay at home. As soon as your Nixplay frame is plugged into a power source, it will immediately search for available Wi-Fi signals.
Follow the on-screen instructions. Using your remote, select the network you wish to connect to.
Some Wi-Fi hotspots require authentication, and you may be prompted for login credentials. If that is the case, use your remote control to key in the access details. A keyboard will appear on-screen once you have selected a text entry field, and you can use your remote control's arrow keys to select letters or numbers.
Note that logging in through a Wi-Fi hotspot that requires authentication may not always work, especially if the connection utilizes a captive portal.
