Using the Auto Power ON/OFF Function
About this aspect:
Your NIX Digital Photo Frame might have the Auto Power ON/OFF Setting and you want to know some more about using it properly...
The Auto ON/OFF feature allows you to set the frame to turn on or off automatically at a selected time of the day.
In 'Settings', if you scroll down the screen, you see the option to set the Auto Power ON and OFF time:
If you want the frame to turn on at 9am, then set “Auto ON” to: 09:00 ON (The word to the right of the time must be set to "on" for the function to be set to on)
If you want the frame to turn off at 7pm, then set “Auto OFF” to 19:00 ON (The word to the right of the time must be set to "on" for the function to be set to on)
Just remember, you need to set the clock first for this to be effective. The clock functions in Military Time.
Please note that next to each time you set, the setting is selected to ON, which means the Feature is activated. If you wish to de-activate it in future, just select it to OFF.
Can the Auto ON Setting work with the Alarm Clock Setting?
Think of the Auto ON/OFF and the Alarm as 2 different settings.
For the Alarm to work, the frame MUST be powered ON. So if you set the Auto Power ON to Picture at say, 07:00, the frame will turn on with pictures. The only way the alarm will work is for it to be set any time after 07:00, i.e. 07:01, etc. When the alarm goes off, it ALWAYS goes directly to the Calendar screen; as this is the only way you can see the alarm icon on the top right of screen and choose to turn it off by pressing ENTER.
