Question: What is the difference between the Motion Sensor function and the Auto ON/OFF Function?
All our Digital Photo Frames have a form of Energy-Saving setting that allows the frame to be powered on at convenient times and off when not needed.
They have either:
Motion Sensor: This operates by switching the frame off when it senses no movement.
You can set the frame to power off after sensing no movement for a selected period of time.
Auto On/Off: This allows you to set a specific time for the frame to turn on each day - eg 09:00, then turn off at a specific time of the day - eg 18:30. It does not use a Motion Sensor. It simply responds to the Clock settings.
Question: Why can we not have both features on the one frame?
The Development Team deemed the Auto On/Off function to be redundant by the addition of a Motion Sensor, as both functions technically power the frame off. So, please consider which function will work better for your requirements when purchasing and check that the frame has either the Motion Sensor or the Auto ON/OFF option.
