What are the differences between the NIX X12C and X12D Advance Frames?
The X12C and X12D Advance Frames look the same and are built the same.
However the X12D Advance does use a newer processor that offers some new features and benefits.
Here are the 5 fundamental differences between the two models:
HD Video Playback
The X12D Advance plays 720p HD Video Formats: MP4 (H.264 HD 720p AAC).
The X12C plays MPEG-4/AVI, Standard Video Formats.
New Improved Intuitive Interface
This latest model (X12D Advance) has been redesigned from scratch to provide a simple but yet intuitive user experience.
For instance, while viewing content, a photo or video, you can make color (like Saturation) & frame setting adjustments to immediately see the effect on the content you are viewing:
Increased USB Memory
We provide more memory in the included USB Memory Device:
X12D Advance = 8GB.
X12C = 4GB.

1) Order of Playback
X12D Advance: Aside from the Random/Shuffle option there are two Orders of play. "A to Z" and "by Date"
X12C: “Random” and “By Order” only
2) Type of Playback
X12D Advance: Mix playback, ie play photos and videos within same Slideshow
X12C: Plays one media type at a time, either photos or videos
3) Rotate & Save
X12D Advance: When you rotate a photo on the frame, the data will be saved so you do not need to do it again
X12C: You can only rotate a photo for viewing purposes, therefore changes will not be saved
