Here are a few common errors (and how to solve them):
- Prohibited Camera Access:
If, when trying to send photos from your Nixplay iOS app to a frame, you see an error message ' Access to the camera has been prohibited; please enable it in the Settings app to continue', tap on 'Settings', find 'Camera' and enable it. Close the Settings app and return to the Nixplay app. Your camera should now be accessible. - Prohibited Camera Roll Access:
Similarly, if you try to send photos from your Photos library from within the Nixplay iOS app, and you see an error message 'Access to the camera roll has been prohibited; please enable it in the Settings app to continue', tap on 'Settings', find 'Photos' and set it to 'Read and Write'. Close the Settings app and return to the Nixplay app. You should be able to access the photo library. - There are times that tapping on Settings may not work for Camera Roll access and the Nixplay app may not be listed under Photos Privacy Settings. It is possible that Restriction is on and “Don’t Allow Changes” is selected on Photos, preventing new apps from using images from the Photo Library. To fix this, go to Settings, tap on General, locate and tap on Restrictions. Input the passcode, locate and tap Photos. Under Privacy, select Allow Changes. Close both Settings and the Nixplay Mobile App. Re-open the Nixplay Mobile App and Photo Library should be accessible.
