What is the Extend Protection Plan?
The Extend Protection Plan begins after the manufacturer’s warranty and allows for a one-time replacement of the covered Nixplay or NIX Frame should it become defective. Should you require a replacement unit within your selected timeframe, you can return your faulty unit to be replaced at no extra cost aside from shipping charges.
How can I avail of the Extend Protection Plan?
For a nominal fee, you can opt to avail of a 1, 2, or 3-year Extend Protection Plan with any Nixplay or NIX Frame purchase. You will then receive your Extend contract via email (or mail service, if you did not provide an email address at the time of purchase).
What does the Extend Protection Plan cover?
The Extend Protection Plan covers accidental damage, mechanical and electrical failures caused by normal wear and tear, and damage caused directly by a power surge.
It does not cover damage resulting from abuse or misuse.
I want to use my Extend Protection Plan. What do I need to do?
Simply contact Extend’s Customer Care Team to start your claim. You will be asked to provide your contract ID, email address, and other identifying information. After verification, you will be issued a shipping label via email so you can return your defective frame. Once the product is shipped, you will receive a link to purchase your new frame, and you can avail of the Extend Protection Plan for your replacement frame.
Can I Cancel My Extend Protection Plan?
Yes, you can cancel your coverage at any time.
If you cancel your Extend Protection Plan when your frame is still within the manufacturer’s warranty period, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel during the Extend warranty period, you will receive a pro-rata refund.
