From September 2020, as part of Nixplay Plus, subscribers are entitled to an Extended Warranty offering by Nixplay.
The Extended Warranty will cover any one (1) of the frames paired to the subscribers account. This coverage is an extension of the one (1) year manufacturer’s limited warranty, for the remainder of its Product life (defined to be five (5) years from the date of Proof of Purchase).
How it works:
1.) Nixplay Plus Subscription accounts are provided one (1) Extended Warranty allocation for which subscribers may designate an eligible frame.
Eligible frames are defined as any frame(s) that has concluded its one (1) year manufacturer’s limited warranty and has been actively paired to the Nixplay Plus subscribers account within the one (1) year Manufacturer’s Warranty Period. Frames that have concluded their one (1) year manufacturer’s limited warranty prior to an active subscription are NOT eligible.
A subscriber may have multiple eligible frames under the same subscriber account, but as part of the Nixplay Plus subscription program rules, they have only one (1) Extended Warranty allocation per subscription.
Any lapses in subscription would void all Extended Warranty eligibility of any frames and any Extended Warranty allocations under that account.
2.) To make an allocation and register a claim on a frame, contact Nixplay Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3.) Extended Warranty claims may only be claimed for a designated frame. Customer Service will assist the customer in determining this by matching the customer’s Nixplay Plus subscription plan, proof of frame purchase, the frame’s pairing history and registered username connected to the Nixplay account.
4.) Once this is determined, and an eligible frame is designated; the allocation is bound to the designated frame for its remaining Product life. The five (5) years Product life on the designated frame does not reset, and any further warranty claims in that period may be made on the original designated frame, even if it is a replacement, or repaired or refurbished.
5.) When the Product life of the designated frame is reached, the allocation becomes available for designation to another eligible frame, i.e. any frame(s) that have concluded their one (1) year manufacturer’s limited warranty while actively paired to the Nixplay Plus subscribers account, and still within five (5) years of its Product life.
6.) Subscribers claiming Extended Warranty must send in the frame (the “Covered Product”), at their own cost, to The Company for assessment. This is subject to prior agreement with the Customer Service Team. If we do not receive the Covered Product within thirty (30) days of your receipt of the replacement Product, you will be responsible for paying the full retail price of the replacement Product and a shipping and restocking fee, which may be charged to your credit card.
7.) The Company will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts; (2) exchange the Product with a new Product or refurbished Product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original Product or (3) refund the purchase price of the Product.
8.) To validate coverage, please ensure you keep all proofs of purchases, such as sales receipts for the purchase of the Product.
