A. If you want a new Playlist:
1. Select 'Photos' on the bottom menu bar.
2. Choose '+ New Playlist'.
3. Type your Playlist Name then select Camera Roll/Photo Gallery.
4. Tap the photos you want to display and select 'Add/Done'.
5. Add captions (optional) you wish to show with the photo on your frame. Tap the blue arrow icon.
6. The photos you selected will be grouped in the new playlist that you created. You will have an option to assign it to the frame where you want it to be displayed (if you have more than one frame as below). Then select 'Confirm'.
B. For adding to an existing playlist
1. Tap on the Photos Tab
2. Select the playlist you want.
3. Hit on Add Photos on the bottom.
4. Choose the photos you want to display then hit Add/Done.
5. Click the blue arrow button at the bottom of the screen to confirm your selection and add to your Playlist.
C. Creating a Google Photos (Dynamic Playlists)
If you wish to create a Playlist using the albums you have on your Google Photos account, you can
1. Select 'Photos' on the bottom menu bar.
2. Choose '+ New Playlist'.
3. Type your Playlist Name then select Connect To Google Photos
4. Sign in to your Google account to access Google Photos. The app will ask for your permission to log in to your Google Photos account. Select 'Continue' then enter your login details.
5. Select either the Most Recent 1000 photos, the photo category, or the album you want to display on your frame. Your selection will be turned into a dynamic playlist.
Up to 1000 of your most recent or album-ordered photos can be synced on your dynamic playlist. The dynamic playlist will automatically be updated every time you add a photo or a video to your actual Google Photos album.
6. Name your playlist, assign a frame where it would be displayed, and select 'Confirm'.
7. Select 'Photos' on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Your new dynamic playlist should now appear in the Playlists tab. Tap on it.
8. To assign your new dynamic playlist to a frame, tap on the three dots at the upper right corner of the playlist’s cover photo. You will be prompted to select what you want to do with the playlist.
9. Select 'Assign to Frame' and choose the frame where you want the playlist to be displayed. Tap on the X on the upper left corner of the screen when you’re finished.
GOOD TO KNOW:
If you have an existing playlist that you want to see on your paired frame:
1. Select 'Photos' on the bottom menu bar.
2a. Select an existing playlist and tap on the three dots located at the upper right corner of the playlist photo. A pop-up menu should appear.
2b. Alternatively, you can tap on the playlist cover image to see the photos inside the playlist. Tap on the three dots located at the upper right corner of the screen.
3. Select 'Assign to Frame' and choose the frame where you want the playlist to be displayed. Tap on the X on the upper left corner of the screen when you’re finished.
